“He who affirms…”
If I told you I can fly, would you believe me?
More to the point, would you have any obligation to at all?
Of course not.
Because you already know (consciously or otherwise) that the burden of proof is on he who speaks/claims, not he who denies, as the maxim goes.
Onus probandi incumbit ei qui dicit, non ei qui negat – the burden of proof lies with the one who speaks, not the one who denies.
Regarding the “science” of virology, I have seen people claim the burden of proof should be shifted to the people who have LEFT the Cult of virus believers and no longer believe in these supposedly illness-inducing little critters.
This is a classic case of the fallacy of reversing the burden of proof.
I see this as a fundamental misunderstanding of the situation, and maybe it's due to an under-appreciation of epistemology (which is insanely widespread—finally a REAL epidemic!).
Epistemology is basically the study of how we have come to “know” what we (think we) “know”; our learning, thought, or research process.
In a nut shell:
The Virus Cult claimed there were pathogenic (disease-causing) viruses. They claimed these teensy little “germs” were responsible for a plethora of different diseases—one virus for each condition (and let’s not forget the ever-mutating and great-for-vax-business “flu strains”!).
Without rehashing the vast amounts of material already adduced by the very capable likes of Mike Stone over at
(or the various contributors to The End of Covid —myself included [thanks ]) we now know virologists failed:They were unable to support the positive claim that “viruses” cause any form of illness whatsoever with valid science (scientific method) or logic.
In short, evidence of causality vis-a-vis “pathogenicity” has never been adduced.
Let that sink in if it hasn’t already. A valid causal chain of evidence does not exist.
It began with their failure to truly isolate a supposed “virus” particle and accurately characterise it (including demonstrating—not theorising or conjecturing—its function).
To know how one of those little putatively pathogenic entities functions, one must be able to observe them FUNCTIONING—otherwise we are left making inferences, deductions, and assumptions to fill huge epistemological gaps (which is what virologists do as standard protocol).
Note: We can, for example, SEE bacteria and white blood cells doing their thing—unlike with “viruses.”
No amount of computer-generated videos and graphics of putative viruses can compensate for the absence of empirical observables.
No one has ever witnessed one of these microscopic entities cause an illness—not a single symptom.
In simple terms, the historical conversation around “viruses” went something like this:
Virologists: We believe these little things under the microscope are responsible for diseases x, y, and z.
Critical thinkers: Can you prove they are actually creating illness and you’re not just pointing-and-naming, along with simply assuming causality? In short, can you show they really DO what you claim they do?
Virologists (translated into plain English): Uh… No. (But we did kill some monkeys by injecting cocktails of crap into their brains.)
Critical thinkers: Why should we believe you then? I’m rather underwhelmed by your case and I don’t accept your claim.
Virologists: But, but… Look at my opaque jargon and little letters after my name, don’t you realise I’m a professional? Respect my authority, puny doctorate-less mortal!
Critical thinkers (grinning): Do you know what a logical fallacy is?
Virologists: Is it when you don’t blindly accept my authority?
Critical thinkers: *chuckling*
With the simple failure of virologists to support their claim with legitimate means established, there is no need to indulge their sophistic garbage or sign on to their religion, just like I don't have to accept Rudolph the reindeer's existence just because there's a half-eaten carrot out in the snow on Christmas morning.
The misunderstanding central to this post re: shifting the burden of proof: I don’t need to provide an alternative for how the half-eaten carrot got there, I just observe the lack of proof provided by whoever is claiming “Rudolph did it,” and then refrain from believing.
That’s all there is to it.

Reversing the burden of proof is a common fallacy that would be easily avoided if people were willing to take a big, deep breath, and think soberly upon the subject.
Simply because the idea that “viruses cause disease” is the default psychological background/paradigm for most of the population (especially medical professionals), after 200 years of Germ Theory propagandising, that doesn't magically make it more valid (on the contrary, all the more reason to challenge it, especially after the shitshow of clownvid-19).
Closer examination of the evidence revealed virologists to be deceiving themselves and anyone listening (hence the value of epistemology).
Thus we have no obligation to listen to anything they say about so-called viruses or “viral illnesses”, let alone reengineering society into a clinic (or asylum), a la clownvid-19 (fourth industrial revolution).
Virologists:
“The viruses are just everywhere and this poor person’s ‘viral load’ was just humongous, but unfortunately there’s not enough virus in them to actually find any and show it’s really there.”
These are some of the mental gymnastics typifying the medical profession in general and, more fundamentally, virology. How many other professions could get away with this guile for even a day, let alone decades?
Imagine if automechanics operated like this:
Well, Mr Johnson, your car broke down because there are tiny goblins in the engine. No, we didn’t see them do it, but we’re sure they’re there and that they are responsible. Actually we can’t technically prove the goblins exist in the first place, but the goblin load in your car is positively ginormous, and we’re the experts so you’ll have to take our word for it. We’re gonna need to replace the engine and install one without goblin contagion.
Yes, there is clearly a great difficulty in convincing most people of the simple truth of the matter regarding the absence of evidence for pathogenic viruses. That, however, is beside the point when we’re dealing with burden of proof.
Trying to explain to people how nature actually works is not the responsibility of people who are simply observing that virologists cannot support their positive claims about “viruses” (a medically meaningless term) without resorting to pseudoscience and logical fallacies such as begging the question/circular reasoning and endless reification illusions.
To argue it is the responsibility of ex-virus-believers to explain WHY someone is sick or else they are “wrong” and viruses are “real” is a blatant logical fallacy (burden of proof reversal).
Virology’s core premises have been experimentally falsified many times over now—the burden of proof was on virus-affirmers and they failed to rise to the challenge. That is essentially where the matter ends.
The fact that the cult's belief system has already been rigorously dismantled is studiously avoided by most. Let’s face it, this is a multi-billion dollar medical industry —and religion—with its talons firmly buried in the mass psyche—why would they let go of the lie now when it has proved so useful for so long?
Sadly, large numbers of the duped public are also still cathected to the semantic-conceptual virological construct (a.k.a. scam), largely, it seems, simply to save face and not feel like they were hoodwinked and defrauded (which they were—on a massive scale, both regarding their individual health challenges on the one hand [i.e. any “viral condition”], and massive cult psyops like ebola, bird flu, SARS, clownvid, etc.).
Sure, we can't force anyone to listen to reason or evidence, but the fact is the virus-believers are still bereft (and incorrect) even if believing in fairytales IS a time-honoured tradition within the hallowed institutions of “Science” (capital “S”) and medicine.
I think it was physicist Max Planck who said the way to shift the paradigm is not to try to convince the dominant generation of believers, but to essentially to wait for them to die out so they can be replaced by a new one familiar with the new information from a young age.
Most people would rather die than face the possibility they're wrong on a core belief about how the world works, apparently.
No different with "viruses." 🤷🏻♂️
Hate to break it to the true believers, but SOME professionals had figured out 70 or more years ago(!) that the appearance of the little particles misleadingly called “viruses” was heavily dependent on how they were manipulated in the lab. (See image below)
In other words, you’re looking at artifacts, cell debris, and other flotsam and jetsam—none of which has ever been shown to generate a single symptom in a human body.
In fact the founder of anthroposophy and biodynamics Rudolf Steiner shared the insight “viruses” were just cell debris fully 100 years ago.
In sum: we who no longer believe in “pathogenic viruses” do NOT need to provide an alternative explanation as to why people get sick (even though we already have many explanations and hypotheses). The burden of proof is on those asking us to believe there are tiny little goblins toodling around in people’s bloodstreams making them ill.
Until you can first isolate and then show me one of these little goblins in the act of making someone ill (and not in the form of CGI), or actually doing anything vaguely “pathogenic,” it’s a hard pass from me.
Drink the Kool-Aid if you must, but don’t pretend your position is the credible one simply because it’s “politically correct” and well-funded by the criminal cartel otherwise known as Big Pharma.
